Description

Uses
The BBHV functions exceptionally well for schools, clinics, churches, and community centers where people gather on a daily basis.  It provides a viable business for someone desiring to bottle and sell safe drinking water.  The system works well to filter most surface water systems (additional pre-filters may be required).

Water Purification
This filter system utilizes two 0.1 micron hollow-fiber membrane filters which remove all bacteria, protozoa, and cysts to 99.99999% (7 Log) and 99.1% (2 Log) of viruses.  This point-of-use, clean water solution has a higher “log” rate than the EPA standard (6 Log) for potable water.

Power
The backflush system is powered by a 12V battery which can be charged with either the included solar panel or the 1 Amp wall charger.

Volume
The BBHV operates whenever water is running through its filters.  It has a maximum flow rate of 38 LPM (10 GPM).  It can operate 24/7, but during any given 8 hour period, it can produce 18,000+ liters (4700+ gallons) of clean water.  This 8-hour period volume will support not only a school of 1,000 children with 2 liters of water per day, but also an additional 3,000 homes with 18 Liters per day (5 GPD).

Usability & Maintenance
The system is easily transportable as checked luggage and weighs only 15kg (33lbs).

The system operates best in a covered, secure location.  Installation takes only minutes.

The LED control panel continuously shows the status of the system so you always know if a backflush cycle is underway, and that the system is functioning normally.

Hollow-fiber membrane filters require regular backflushing to stay in good working order.  The BBHV automatically backflushes each filter with clean water from the other filter at preset intervals.  This ensures optimal system performance for years to come and clean, safe drinking water 100% of the time.
